We went to one of the road shows this past Saturday. It was a small, but a cute set up in our local mega mall. Inside an igloo tent, they had 2 live penguins in a glass enclosure. Since the penguins were used to being in public and it was pretty dark inside the tent, we were allowed to use the flash on our camera. You could not get real close to the penguins though.
They also had games for the kids. Lines were not too bad. At the one game, my DD won a rubber bracelet, one game, she and I got a small glass of coke from the fancy coke machine. One game she recorded a video that they took and when viewed, had penguins dancing with DD. They sent the video to my email, which was nice. I can't remember the last game, but at the end she got a medium sized, very light weight black fabric bag, with zipper, and SW logo on the one side. She wasn't too happy, as the crying girl in front of her got a small stuffed penguin instead of the bag. Like she really needs anothe stuffed animal. She already has tons of them.
So, if you get a chance to see one of the road shows you may enjoy it. For us, it was a fun half hour or so diversion at the mall.
