We are thinking of going to Sea World on Christmas Day, What will the crowds be like?

Traditionally, busy, but not packed. (This is true of every park except Magic Kingdom.) The 26th is when things get crazy.

That said, with Christmas on a Saturday, and a lot of people off the 24th, not sure if this will hold true this year.

We spent Christmas day 2008 at Sea World. I didn't think it was crowded at all (but it had been a long, long time since I had been there). We had no problem getting good seats to all of the shows without waiting in line forever and we even did the Dinner with Shamu (which honestly, was a letdown. Good, but not the wonderful experience I was hoping for).

I love Christmas Day at Sea World. This is always my number 1 choice for Christmas Day in Orlando. Although busy, it's not nearly as busy as the Disney parks on this day. Crowds on Christmas Day here too tend to be a lot lighter than crowds between Christmas and New Year. It's very festive -- wonderful music, shows, and theming -- even some snow generated at the end of the day. And this is such a great park for a multigenerational group, if your spending Christmas with extended family down there.

I personally have found Christmas Day at SeaWorld less busy than summer Saturdays, October Saturdays, and days during spring break if this helps you any for gaging crowds.

Seaworld on Christmas Day is typically pretty dead, espically compared to the crowds that start on the 26th. I'd say go for it, it'd be a much better option than any other day durning the week after.
