Two questions:

We'll be with our 5 and 6 1/2/ year olds. Our daughter LOVES animals (especially dolphins) and I know this is going to be the highlight of her visit this year.

1. Is one day enough to adequately see Sea World?

2. What are the best bets for children this age?

Thanks!

Deb

One day will let you see the highlites, and then you can come back another time to see anything you missed.
With kids that young, everything will revolve around them.
When you arrive, do the Dolphin show first. Then Clyde and Seamore. Eat an early lunch at 11am to avoid the lines. Walk thru the Clydesdale area to see the horsies, and you can get a beer sample. See Shamu, and they'll spend 2 hours in the play ground behind the stadium going thru the huge cargo net ball crawl. Do the polar bear walk thru, and you'll be back at the entrance. Now go feed the dolphins and let them touch the stingrays that swim by. They'll be tired and cranky by 4pm, so you'll leave. Kids can't handle a park for a solid day. That's why you see most of them sleeping in the stroller by the afternoon.

Even as an adult going commando style, it's hard to see everything in a day, because there are many shows to see, and you just can't fit them. You'll have to pick and choose what shows you want to see.
