Fine print: "Single-day ticket offer is valid for 1 free child ticket with purchase of 1 full-priced Adult ticket. Just wanted to say thank you again--it definitely worked. I couldn't find anything that says it CAN'T be used for non-residents. I put in my address (which is Canada) and it was accepted.

This also applies to the annual pass. $109/yr adult & kids is free.

One of my co-workers is going in Aug with her DD & grandson. Her DD is going to DL in Dec. so they'll get the pass and it's way cheaper than paying the daily ticket price.

I already got the 2 year pass for $109 for myself & DS (adult price). This is such a great deal as the parking is free with annual pass and there are discouts on food, tours, stuff. At least it covers the taxes.

These look to be for SD residents only. Do they check id at the gate? I'm afraid to pull the trigger on this one and then get to the gate and not be able to get in. Any advice?

Hi all!

THanks for posting this OP. I saw this deal come out end of last year and HOPED they would have it for our one day visit that was TODAY. I really wanted to do SW but didn't want to spend a ton. But now that we're here obviously I was going to spend it if needed.

This morning I went to a very nice lady in the ticket booth and told her I had 'heard of a promotion online with buy one adult ticket get child free'. She asked if I had any additional info (like if AAA or whatever) and I said 'I have a promotion code' and showed her. She said 'my computer won't take that code'. So I thought all was lost. Then she started looking through a big 3 ring binder filled with all their promotion 'info' - and I saw one that said buy adult get child free and pointed to it. Anyway, she proceeded to ring me up using it and even said 'oh - says it's a resident discount' - but then never said resident of WHERE AND she had to see my license (NY state) when I used my cc. Anyway - it worked for me thanks to this very kind lady. I saveed $118. WHich, by the way, is great because I frankly don't think the park is worth $200 for one day for the 4 of us. I had a ton of fun, but just wouldn't have felt it was worth it for more.
