Looking at the 10 day forecast there is a 60% chance of rain on 12/13 which is when we are going to SW. Will they still have the shows if it rains?

No idea how it affects shows, but it rarely rains all day, most likely it will be an hour here or there.

10 day forecast that's an iffy. Just keep an eye out cause it may start to clear up as time gets closer. We were there one time and all it did was rain non stop. No lightening so shows went on. I think if it was a bad thunder storm they would cancel. At this time of yr our rain showers are rain only not bad thunderstorms like in the summer. Usually I would say quick shower that just passes by but the last few days we have had non stop rain. Just a light drizzle but that's the worse cause its cold.

Did you see that on Weather channel? The weather channel frequently puts the last day of a 10 day forecast for Orlando at a 60% chance of rain for some reason. I would bet that will go down in the coming days as December is a really dry month for Florida. Florida usually only gets rain this time of year when a cold front comes through. With that said, if it does rain, no shows will be affected except the Ice Skating show where it will be delayed and maybe cancelled if the rain doesn't stop. All the other shows will go on as planned unless there is lightning which lightning is also very rare this time of year. Lightning will delay and eventually cancel all outdoor shows. Indoor shows aren't affected by weather.

We'll be there the 13th too. Crossing our fingers for nice weather!

Right now I am more concerned about getting out of DFW this Friday morning.:rotfl: The weather was calling for ice/sleet to be coming in around lunch time. Since we are flying out at 6:00am we weren't too concerned, as we'd be gone before it hits. However, they've now changed the forcast for the ice to hit Thursday night, with sleet early Friday morning.:headache: We had planned to drive the little over an hour to the airport, leaving the car in the Park & Fly close to the airport, but I just went online and booked a Park & Stay Hotel about a mile from the airport. Looks like we'll spend the night there Thursday night, use their shuttle, and just hope the plane can take off.

Thanks guys! We leave early Sat morning right before the bad weather hits here in MD and will be at Disney most of the week except for our one day we go to SW. Safe travels and have a nice trip to anyone going the next few weeks.

aubriee,

Good luck!

I would just like to point out that the forecast for the 13th is now at a 20% chance of rain. Looking better for you guys! Enjoy your visit!
