Sorry being late to the party. I was just looking at the Wilderness Lodge on Google Maps. The aerial pictures are from 2024 apparently and there are small boats lined up at the dock there. The building for Geyser Point Bar is visible as well. Not sure when that was built, bit it's rather recent, I think?
Anyways, we always rented Sea Raycers at least once each trip, as they were so much fun and we could see some of the more untouched areas at WDW. Plus there was a discount for DVC members as well. The price was fine. We usually rented for an hour and the CMs always were really nice and didn't charge more even if we came in 15 min. late. One time, we had to go back about 45 min. into the rental as a thunder storm was approaching and the Whaler with the lake supervisor went around and told everyone to go back to their pier. When we got there, it was pretty much exactly one houre since we left and they waived the rental fee completely because of the bad weather approaching.
