SDMT at night

During our late January 2016 trip we want to ride SDMT at night. Would we need a FP for around 6-7pm or will the lines be shorter because of the parade being at 7? Can you get in line for any rides immediately following wishes? The park also closes at 8.

A FP for 7DMT is always advised.

That is an unusually early close for MK, I would not be surprised to see that time change.

If Wishes is scheduled at park close, you will not be able to do any attractions afterwards.

Riding Sdmt while Wishes is going on is awesome. There are definitely lines all day. We scheduled a FP during Wishes on our last trip and loved riding during the fireworks.

During wishes we have walked on or waited up to 20 minutes. That is the best time to do SDMT if you can't get a fast pass IMO
