SDD FP+ reservation before noon on 60+3

I have three young kids this trip so our morning window to do HS is small. I am reading that a lot of people are able to get SDD FP+ for the days they want but not necessarily the time they want. I know a lot of people suggest different scenarios in terms of how to use their FP+ reservations. For my family, it has been decided that the best use is for the am (the first park of the day). As a result, I think by noon kids will need to head back to our hotel for a pool break/rest. (Staying at YC.)

Based on experiences so far, is it realistic that I will be able to get SDD FP+ reservations for 5 for anytime before or at noon? Maybe it is too soon to post this question and need to wait a few more weeks of FP+ reservations as this ride is still so new?

At this time, I think it is so new that FP availability is hard to judge. I would suggest getting you FP for whatever time you can and then try modifying the time later. On many attractions, that approach has worked well. Others have gotten lucky getting thier SDD FP for the time they want.

I needed SD in the AM for FP for 60+2. I didn't get it on FP day, but saw last Friday folks posting in the Toy Story Land thread about there being more added, looked, and sure enough, was able to get an 11 am SD. We are a party of two. So it might be challenging, but if you don't get it at first, don't give up!

I was able to get SDD for the last day of our 5 day trip in late July for 4 people at 10:25. I think the later in your trip you can plan your HS day the better chance you will have of getting it early. To contrast...I couldn't get FOP until evening on day 4. Good luck!
