Just back from a fabulous trip with my nieces! I have pictures with Mary Poppins in her white dress and Ariel in a blue/green gown. The embellishments/Jolees I have seen for these characters have Mary in a black dress and Ariel in a pink gown.

Does anyone know of different embellishments that would mathc better? Or have ideas for scrapping these photos. For Mary, I was thinking maybe using white lace with red pattern paper?

Thanks!

For Mary: what about something with a carousel? Carousel horses, a tea set up (penguins??)

Great ideas and how about penguins and a white parasol?
Maybe for Ariel some cool blue green ribbons or threads and some shells and glitter.

I like these ideas! I'll see if I can find some clip art with a carousel. I have some glitter paper that is a bluish green--maybe I can do something with that.

Straighten me out here (it's been a LONG time since I've seen Little Mermaid...) Which dress is the one she's in?

Could you do something with a boat?? Like in the Kiss the Girl scene? Maybe you could find something with a cricut? One of the princess carties has her, you could build an Ariel that matches that dress you saw her in??

What about a Seagull and a fork?? Okay, I'm stretching, but it's an idea!! Or accent your page with some of her treasures??

HEre is a page I did for Mary Poppins.
The white paper is actual lace paper layered on top of a Bazzill red color.
THe quote box and title are from a swap, the penquins are stickers and umbrella is a cricut cut out (I think lol)

Love this page! I found a carousel diecut, but I really like this lace paper. Do you know where you found it?

Thanks for the ideas! The grotto is gone at Magic Kingdom. So you can't see Ariel as a mermaid right now. My nieces and I saw her at the Storybook breakfast in Norway. She is wearing a bluegreen ball gown. But in a lot of the embellishments I have seen, she is wearing a pink gown. Don't know why. I can't remember what she wears in the movie.

Here's the photo:

Nutz4dizney, love your layout! :thumbsup2

I did an Ariel page where one side was a patterned paper that came in a book of lots of Disney papers. I want to say it was made by EK Success. The other page I picked up at Michael's. It's teal/green/aqua.

Hmm... a tough one to decide which way to go... maybe some starfish to compliment her hairpiece? Or just a simple border and glitter to accent the flash of her dress?

I'd probably stare at that one for quite a while before figuring out where to go with it.

thanks for the comments on my layout

That paper I got from Oriental Trading (a black and White lace set) but I've seen the same type at Michaels and AC Moore.
