I'm trying to figure out how to scrap our Disney trips. I'm not sure if I should create Disney albums, or include the pages in our annual family albums. What does everyone else do?

I didn't take a lot of photos on our 2006 trip (wasn't into scrapping until January 2007) so I just did a bunch of Disney pages within our 2006 family album. Now that I'm totally into scrapping, I am doing separate albums. For our 2007 trip, I did one 50+ page trip album. For our upcoming trip in August I am going to do 2 albums. The kids and I are spending 4 days at POFQ with my sister and her DH so that will be one album. Then DH flies down and just the 4 of us move to WL, and that will be a separate album.

I do a separate album or albums for each trip, and then I usually put a double-page layout in the family album for that trip, with just my favorite pics of the trip. :)

I do separate albums for each trip...and my plan is to include the favorite photos of each child in the family album. DH and I have already picked out our favorites... This year our goal is to photograph that WE actually go on vacation with OUR kids!!!! WE have hardly any photos of the 2 of us on vacation...

I've always done a separate album. I tend to scrap every photo (not counting doubles or out of focus). That means easily 300+ pictures. With all those pictures it would end up taking an entire album anyway!:lmao:

I have a couple of albums that are just for Disney pictures. We do a lot of weekend trips so we don't need a separate album for each trip. I do have a couple of weeklong trips still to scrap and after being around here, I'm thinking of doing separate albums for those "big" vacations. I have some of my favorite Disney pictures in the family album.

My albums are my daughter's albums. I keep telling myself if I ever get caught up with hers I will make a set for myself to include trips and such that are not in her albums.

Sorry, back to my answer. I have her Disney trip from 2006 in a separate Disney album (or I will if I ever get it done:rotfl: ). I plan to make an album for each of the girls of our Oct 2008 trip. I take enough pics to be able to do this. My older daughter has 2-3 books for each year!

All I scrap is Disney but I do an album per trip.

our trips just go into the regular album. Every once in a while I'll make a cute mini album (paperbag or something) to leave on the coffee table but mostly everything is in one album. maggie

I do seperate albums........WDW and DCL trips have own albums and since we go to DLR a few times a year usually keep the whole year together.

This will be the first time I am doing a separate album just for Disney because it'll be my ds's first trip and I know I will take a million pictures. Previously I have just done a few spreads from out trips. There was a while there when I didn't even bring my camera because we were going pretty often!

I have an album I am doing for each park. We are FL residents and go about once per month. I have a seperate album for my birthday trip (longer). I include a picture or 2 when I do a monthly spread on the families activities. I don't have children though.

I've done both. But I've also done this, too:

I do a separate album or albums for each trip, and then I usually put a double-page layout in the family album for that trip, with just my favorite pics of the trip. :)

The WDW trips get their own album and the Disneyland day-trips end up in with the regular stuff. But I'm also thinking that since I'm sooooo far behind on the kids albums that I'll remove the Disneyland photos and make a separate album of just that (we go every year).

I do separate albums. I digi scrap for everyday and have a couple Disney pages in there, but do our trips separately. Will probably have to re-think this after this year since we became AP holders.

It depends on how many pictures we took, and since we go for a day or two often (it's only 1.5 hours away) we don't take a lot of pictures anymore, so they go into our yearly album. Our Food & Wine Festival weekend from last year will likely get its own album just because we took so many pictures, including a picture of each food and beverage we had! I do put longer vacations into separate albums and then put a 2-page spread into the yearly album as well.

I just have my DS so I have albums I do for him and then our Disney trips are in seperate albums.

When we moved away from FL and came back for week long trips to WDW I put them in separate albums. Now that we are back in FL and go all the time I just keep general Disney albums...even started a character album for just those pics.

I do separate Disney books as well. Sometimes my visits are only a few a year so I can fit in two years in one book, but most of the time I dedicate a book to each year.
