Today I received a Scrappers Survival Kit in the mail as part of our ss swap. It could not have come at a better, MUCH needed time - not necessarily for the sb part, but for survival in general. A dear friend is in the hospital. She was making several baby steps forward, but yesterday she made an unfortunate big leap backwards.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your thoughtfulness! BTW my package said this was NOT my September package, so I have another package to look forward to
!
My survival kit came in a plastic container like the one used for take out Chinese food. A paper came with it with the following note:
HERBAL TEA to sooth and relax you when the page ideas are slow coming.
An ERASER so you can make ALL your mistakes disappear.
A Band-Aid to cover your next paper cut.
A GLUE STICK so you can keep it together.
A RUBBER BAND to stretch your limits.
A MARBLE incase your family and friends question whether you've "lost your marbles."
A PENNY so you'll never be totally broke after purchasing scrappin' supplies.
A CHOCOLATE BAR to give you that "pick me up" and energy HIGH.
