scrapbook store at DTD?

do they have a scrapbook store at dowtown disney? and where is it? how late does it stay open in the evenings?

Don't know how late it stays open, but it's right across from the Christmas store. You can find the same stuff at other stores in DTD, the parks and in the hotel gift shops. (Their selection is not a huge selection, so it's not some place you'd spend all day... not even a couple of hours... LOL) I always come away having spent some money, though!!

it's open 9:30a- 11:00 or 11:30p depending on how late disney marketplace is open.

I went there this month and enjoyed it- Didnt buy more than eyelets but they did have more than I was expecting... (not as much as I hoped though)

Im pretty set in my ways scrapbook book style though so I didnt find much I could use (and didnt have any packs that I loved)

I just saw a pair of paper edging scissors that cut out the shape of Mickey's head at laughingplacestore.com - do they have stuff like that at the scrapbook store at DTD??

Disney's Wonderful World of Memories has the Mickey-head scissors, a very cool castle punch and, of course, the Mickey head eyelets.

There are several scrapbooking kits that range from a generic four parks theme to one that handles just Disney food (shaped waffles, restaurant logos, etc.). My most favorite kit is the Halloween one. We did Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party last fall and the pix are just perfect with this kit.

One of my favorite items is a set of alphabet stickers where the letters are from places around the parks. For example, the "D" is in the Disney script; the T is from the Typhoon Lagoon sign... that sort of thing.

Don't forget coloring books have great ideas for paper piecing, if you are into that sort of thing.

They also have albums... top loading post bound and binder style. Last year, I bought three of the black ones.. $25... (says 2003 on them) and this year, I bought 2 of the green ones (Pooh and friends with 04), still $25 and one of the leather (faux?) binder style ones for my older son (maybe $29?). The Pooh ones had colored and white card stock (but not as much as last year) in them and the binder style has white paper. I always seem to come away with kits, too. These include papers (both patttern and plain), stickers, die cuts and frames. I bought 2 of the coordinating Pooh ones.

I also have those alphabet stickers mentioned above... and have used them once.

Oooh oooh ooh.. .and no one mentioned these yet... they have some pretty cool 3D stickers out now. I got several sets of 2 different styles ($6 each... a little pricey, but I had to have them.) I also have the eyelets, but can never find them when we're down there (always sold out), so I have friends pick them up for me... LOL!!

Here are some of my layouts... hopefully this link will take you directly to my 04 Disney layouts. The first page that has Pooh and 04 is what the front of the album looks like... only the color on the album is a BRIGHT almost lime green (my favorite color of the moment... LOL!!) I've used the TTFN Tigger layout as my last page for this book. My book will hold 2 more layouts... working on that now... LOL!! Both those papers came with the 04 Pooh kit. ($15)
