Hi everyone!

I've just started scrapping my Disney Vacation Album from last October (want to get it done before our trip next year!) and am trying to come up with good color palette for my pages.

Could anyone share some of their favorite color combinations?

Of course, one of my favorites for a Disney Layout is Cranberry, Black, Black Plaid and Yellow!

Another combination I love is turquoise, peach and tan. Something about those colors seems very vacation-like to me anyways.

Does anyone have any other pallette they love?

Caribbean blue and yellow....with a little water paper added in.

I seem to add a third color alot. It gives it some punch!

I am working on my album now and for my castle pages I used a soft pink, medium blue, white and a touch of silver. Picks up a lot of the colors in the castle.

For me it really depends on what my pics are, but I have found espically for AK that I am using alot of browns and greens with black accents. In my MK book I have done alot of blues and browns. In my hotel book, (pop last year) it is pink, blue, gray, and blacks. I have found I don't use the traditional disney red, black and yellow much at all.

I used some retro - orange, turquoise, and lime green paper for pictures around the Pop Century -

Did another Pop Century with Green, Yellow and Orange.

Also, did the castle on a lavender background with pale peachy-pink and light blue accents.

I been thinking about Sage, Mustard Yellow and Terra Cotta for Animal Kingdom and turquoise/pink or peach for MGM.

Purposely trying to stay away from Red and Black when I can so I can pull it out when needed.

Thanks for everyone's replies - I Love Scrappin' Disney picts!

This sounds like Coronado Springs!! ;-)

I just finished an album about a local water park we went to over the summer. Most of it was in shades of blue. The page showing our sunburns was done in yellow, orange and red.

Mostly I scrap using brights. The baby albums I was working on were mostly pastles

I wouldn't get caught up too much into what colors are "disney" colors. I would match the paper to your pictures on each layout. That is how I am planning on doing my book. I have picked up a few papers and embellishments here and there, but don't have any plans on sticking to the "traditional" disney colors on every page.

TEAL, PEACH, BLACK AND SILVER!! Just did dd's eight grade dance lo and used these colors (her dress was teal)!! :cheer2:

I go by the colors in pictures and whatever I like. I don't like pastels and I don't stick to a color wheel.
