Scrapbook Bag HELP PLZ

Ok so I had this really cute rolling bag from Miachels and I LOVED it. Came home the other day and DH is helping me unload the car. He picked the bag up by the handle you roll it with and the whole handle busted, pieces flew everywhere.

I have only had the bag for a few months so I can't spend much on a new one. I am going to see if Miachels will replace it BUT I have no reciept and who know is they carry in anymore.

My question is which bag would you buy??? On a budget of coarse.

Well...probably no help here from me. I have a large Cropper Hopper. I don't scrap away from home very often, so it doesn't see much use. But when I fill it, I can't tip to back to wheel it unless I kind of lift the whole front. I am afraid the handle with rip right out of the back. Seems kind of silly to make such a large tote and not put a sufficiently strong handle system on it. Good luck. If Michael's won't refund/replace for you, try contacting the manufacturer........................P

I'm a total cheapo here. I keep my supplies at home in the rolling carts with the closable drawers. Kinda like little plastic cases for the shelves. When I go to a crop, I take those drawers (I keep what I'm working on in their own) and put them in my rolling overnight bag. The kind that can almost be stored in the overhead bins on an airplane (depending upon what size airplane). And my pens,sizzors, glues and things I keep in my AMM urban tote I got for Christmas, but I use to keep those in an old computer bag that fit perfect on top of the suitcase when the handle was in use. I look like a total geek, but I didn't spend $$ on storage I don't use often and use the $$ for spending on supplies I go through like water.

Well Micheal said since it was a gift and I had no reciept I could not return the bag, even for store credit. I am so mad, I can't afford another one. I live in a small apt. and this was my storage system. I won't be shopping at Micheals anymore!!! Very bad customer service!

Well that's not right. Did you talk to a Manager? Or try calling the manufacturer.

Sorry about not being able to return it. I'd keep trying, with the manager and then with the manufacturer. I would mention that you know ALOT of people who scrapbook and you will certainly be telling them about your experience. It can't hurt.

I have a large Crop in Style tote and I like it, but it is ackward to take places, to big and heavy. I'd look for a smaller one if I were buying another. I have used an empty 12x12 Disney album box for small crops and that worked pretty well, just make sure you don't put scissors or sharp things in with paper or photos.
