This is labeled A because it is not really an update but it is an update on a part of the trip.

Okay I said I was nervous about Vinny going to POP because he can be a pain in the neck (think lower) and really opinionated. So we got there and it was going good. He liked the room and thought it was very nice. He loved the section we were in being so close to the main building. He said it was nice and quiet and he even enjoyed swimming in the pool there. I had an issue with the beds not being comfortable but I survived.

The food court he was less than thrilled with. He thought the food court at AofA was much better and it was.

Overall he enjoyed POP and it gets 2 thumbs up from him and he is very willing to stay there again.

I WAS SHOCKED.

I think we might go down for Gay Days/Star Wars Weekend and we will probably end up staying here.

I love Pop. Since my main objective is to spend as much time as possible in the parks, the resort is not as important as long as it is Disney!! Pop is my favorite value, and I am looking forward to seeing AOA. I will admit, the food is not the greatest though!

Got behind again, but isn't Pop great? Haven't stayed there in a while (since I added DVC points), but I just love that place and AoA is someplace I have to stay, even for a night.

Nice DIS meet. I got to meet Anita and Marc last June, but missed them by a day in October. We did get to hang out with Pat (poolrat pat in the purple) quite a bit in October. She is a hoot.

I would love to go down in May or June for the Flower show or Star Wars weekend but don't think it will happen.

POP is nice if you plan on spending the day and night at the park. Although we did have some nice down time at POP. The food = bleh.

When I left you last we were entering the Lion King section.

EEK!!

Do not climb on anything. I actually did not see anyone trying to climb on it.

Then we came to the main building.

Of course we had to go inside.

It is set up like POP. Just better food. LOL

I did have dinner here. Vinny did not as he was not hungry.

I just had an individual pizza and a soda.
Total = $7.48 after the TIW discount.

Their store is located right next to the food court so we looked around in there.

Then we went back to the food area. I forget what we were looking for. I think I got water or something.

Then we went outside and saw the main pool.

Here is the system you have to use to get in.

The bar. Very important area.

I think I will stop here due to photo limit.

I doubt it. The pool there is really nice so I think they don't want over-crowding.

I don't think he will. By the time they go again he should have outgrown some of his problems. My daughter may actually rent a house the next time they go and stay off-site. He found out that he can get a house through work I think for $250 for a week. At that price it would be worth it for them.

I'm surprised too! Pop is okay but I find it noisy and buses have always been a nightmare when we visit. I guess I just don't have good luck with neighbors at this resort. I do think the theme is cute and it's good enough on a short trip when you mostly be park commando. But for our family of 4 we do like a relaxing resort and bigger room. AOA Lion King section looks awesome! I would love to stay there sometime! Great pictures!

I am enjoying all the AoA pics. Very glad Vinny liked Pop!!! We LOVE Pop!! I was talking with DH last night about changing our trip (shocker I know) I would like to try F&G...and to save $$ I suggested Pop or AoA...he said April or May isn't hot enough to swim (how quickly he forgets our May 2012 trip with the 90 degree weather ) and he said I have the kids all excited for YC...so no changing..

But AoA is brand spankin new and I love the theming...I guess I will just keep drooling over your TR
