Can my kids ride their scooters around the lake at Bonnet Creek?

Define scooters.

If you are talking about Razor-type scooters, yes and no. Under Florida law, it is illegal to use roller-blades, scooters, skateboards, longboards, etc, etc. etc. on any roadway or parking lot in the state.

(Yes, that does cover private property. And yes, I know that law is widely ignored/violated.).

However, they should be allowed to use them on the path around the lake unless WBC has some resort policy against it. I would call the resort directly before you pack the scooters.
