We have usually stayed at a resort that has a direct bus, ie, it makes no other stops. For this next trip we are booked at POR which is the second stop for the bus line. Often the bus is full by the time it gets to POR having filled up with POFQ guests.

Have any of you stayed at POR ? Have you had trouble finding room for your scooter? I would really appreciate your answers as now I am worried I will spend the day waiting for an empty bus that may never come. Thanks so much...

I stayed at POR this time last year. I only had to wait a couple of times for a different bus and both times, it was the same bus with a broken lift about 4 days apart with the same driver. :rotfl2: He was so sweet about the whole thing. He said that he would let the next driver know that I was waiting and to try to save a space for me.

It's just in taking the right attitude. ;) I could have gotten all huffy, but since I wasn't missing anything other than being lined up in huge lines for rope drop, which I still made with ease, it was no big deal to me and I think that the driver certainly appreciated my understanding. The second time it happened, he offered to call his manager, but I told him that the best thing that he could do was put in another work order for the ramp to be fixed, properly this time.

POR was a good place to be on a scooter. I am waiting to see what POP is going to be like for me. I haven't been to POP since I stayed there back when it first opened.
