Scooter Rentals

Last year when we vacationed at WDW we used Scooter Vacations for my husband's scooter rental. We stayed at POR, they dropped it off at our room the first day, and picked it up outside our room the last day. I have read of WDW policy changes with this type of service....would someone be able to clarify exactly what those changes are? Thanks!

ScooterBug is the only vendor allowed to utilize Bell Services at WDW resorts for equipment delivery/return. All other vendors will arrange to meet you personally; some have set schedules at each resort, others are more flexible. I've actually never known of any vendor "allowed" to just leave equipment outside a room, without meeting the guest in person. Unless you met that vendor in person, they weren't allowed to do that last year, either. I highly recommend you either use ScooterBug or make plans to meet your vendor in person.
