I will be in Disney World in November. In the past, I have rented scooters from off-site companies and the scooter has been waiting for me when we get to the resort.
My travel agent recommended Buena Vista Scooters. When I put in my dates and that I would be staying at the Art of Animation resort, it said that the AofA is a "meet and greet" location and I would have to be there to accept the scooter. The problem is, we will be arriving later at night. None of their meet and greet times would work for me.
Are there any other Orlando scooter rental companies that would be able to drop a scooter off at AofA without me being there?

Scooterbug is the only one that you do not have to be at the resort for pick up and drop off.

Scooterbug is the only one you do not have to meet; however, different companies have different policies for meeting. Just know their reputation is getting really bad, about 2 stars on most review sites.

Buena Vista has set times based on your resort, Gold Mobility comes at whatever time you need, but currently.they are only delivering between 7 AM and 7 PM.

Unfortunately when coming from Los Angeles we end up getting in late as well. We have done two different methods as solutions:
Meet them early the next morning, they actually are usually.more than willing to come to whatever room we are staying in if necessary.

The other alternative is spend the first night at the hotel in the airport and then have the first night on property starting the next night.

Neither is perfect, but you get options.

Thank you. I am an amputee and take my leg off to sleep so I would need the scooter the night we arrive if possible. I really don't want to mess with bringing a wheelchair on the airplane since I won't really need a wheelchair/scooter until we get to the room that night. I guess I might need to rethink my plan if there is no way to get a scooter when we arrive that evening.

You can still pick-up a rental from Bell Services on arrival -- it just needs to be rented from ScooterBug. Any other vendor will need to meet you in-person.

We've used Gold Mobility Scooters in Jan '21 and Dec '19. They have been a pleasure to work with. Pick a time and they will have someone meet you outside in front of the hotel lobby.

I would suggest calling Gold Mobility and explaining the situation, as long as you aren't getting in at something like midnight, they will likely work with you if you call and explain the situation. It's a shame the resorts don't still have the loaner chairs that you could borrow for something like 24 hours in cases like this, but my understanding is they did away with those some time ago.

This confuses me - if you take your prosthetic off to sleep, why would you need a scooter at that time? You're in bed, right? Or is it that you can't get to the lobby the next morning without a mobility device? (But here you've said you don't need it until you get to the room that night so you're able to get from the airplane to the room?) Could someone else in your room get the scooter for you the next morning? I'm not seeing where you need the scooter that night - unless you're planning on going back out someplace after you check in? Trying to brainstorm a solution, but I'm not seeing the problem, I guess?

If I take my leg off, I would like to have the option to get up to go to the bathroom without having to go through the process of putting my leg back on (it is not as simple as slipping a shoe on - I have a vacuum sealed liner, socks that go outside that, etc) It is just a nice option to have. I have nerve damage to one of my hands, so I'm not able to use crutches. At home I use a wheelchair when I don't have my leg on. We also want to get an early start the next morning and it would also give me peace of mind knowing that I had a scooter already.

might be a little harder for one night but maybe rent a wheelchair for first night from Scooterbug and return it the next morning when you meet the get ECV.

I don't think there's space in most WDW rooms to ride around in a scooter? I see your need though - could you rent from scooterbug for one night and then get your preferred one in the morning?

I’ve never stayed in the Art of Animation accessible rooms, but I’ve used a scooter in the room at other resorts and hotels.

Would renting a wheelchair from Scooterbug for one night [therefore it is available when you arrive] and returning it the next day when you pick up your ECV rented from your choice of ECV provider work ?
