I'm staying off property and renting an ECV.

Don't know if anyone knows this but when I reserved my scooter from Scootaround, they told me that they and Avis have joined efforts to make renting a transferable scooter much easier.

If you rent a car from Avis, Scootaround will have the ECV in the trunk and ready to go when we pick up the car at MCO. There will be instructions on how to assemble it too. When your ready to go home, Scootaround will pick it up at Avis.

I thought this was very cool! Was wondering how I was going to have a company deliver to the house and pick up at the house. I didn't want to be tied down to any set delivery and pick up times.

But if the ECV is in the trunk, where do you expect to put your luggage? The ECV will fill up the trunk.

If your off-site rental is a stand-alone house and not part of a development, normally the Realtor can handle the drop-off and pick-up. If the house is in a development, the off0site vendors will deliver to and pick up from the management office.

Thanks for the tip about the management office. Will look into that.

We'll have 2 cars so lots of room. All of us are packing light. Carry ons only...duffle bags. If we need to, we can just cram them into any nook and cranny to and from the airport. We'll have a washer and dryer so 3 outfits a piece is all that's needed with an extra pair of shoes. Not taking any shampoos, soaps..etc. ..will buy them when we get to Orlando.
