Scissors is back yall! And i must say my trip was..interesting. Welp, here goes!

Alright. Day One.

So. Friday morning. Up dawns crack cuz i couldent sleep the night before, as usual. :) My folks kept me home from school that day beacuse we were supposed to leave at noon when my dad got home from work. Yea, Right. Well, lets just say that didnt go so well. I had been packed the night before, and had everything ready, DVDs, Disney-Related clothes, camera, auograph book, pin lanyards, the works. Ready to leave.

It was only 6 AM. I got up and got dressed and lie in the darkness staring up at my cieling thinkin "Wow, WDW already." and " I must be crazy bieng up this early."

My mom and sister didnt get up till almost 10, and my dad was already at work. I had all my stuff gathered in my NBC dufflebag (which i had crammed to make all the stuff fit in one suitcase) and my Oscar the Grouch backpack was full of DVDs and my Billy Martin doll (yes...my doll, he goes everywhere w/ me) and all the other nessisary things i needed for the 2 day drive there.
And i was sitting here at my comp, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed,ready to go.

Remember when i said we were leaving at noon? WRONG. Dad didnt get home till about 1, and then he had to shower and pack his stuff. I was SO irritated! I could have gone to school and come home before we evin left the subdivision!! They told me we were gonna be out of this miserible state by 3! And darn it i was bound determined to stick to that!!

We left my house around 2, and we got to my nana's (my dads mom) house where my aunt and cousin and Nana were waiting for us w/ the camper. So, we proceded to load all the food, clothes, etc. into the camper before dad hitched it to the truck, and my aunt, Nana, cousin Alex, and myself all loaded our take-along junk into the van. I really didnt want to kill my sister on the way to WDW, so i rode w/ them in the van. I see my parents every day u know, so i wanted to be away from them as much as possible.

We are finaly all ready to go! THANK GOD. We left Nana's house by 3, and we were passing the Arch by 4, which was great timing wise. Finally into Illinois!

And so, the trip continues..tomarrow! :teeth:

Day one cont.

SO! Right on w/ the trip! :sunny:

Alright, so. About two hours from Mo, just outside of an empty nothingless town of Mt. Vernon Illinois,(no offence to anyone who lives there) on some highway, me,my aunt and the rest of my dads family were in the van following behind my folks who were pulling the camper. Everything was going smooth. Untill the rear left tire of out trailer FLEW off and bounced across the highway. Me and my cousin Alex were watching RHPS, when all of a sudden I look up to see sparks shooting out of the back side of the camper. And let me tell u, the first thing i said was "HOLY **** balls!" and I called my mom to tell them what happened, instead of picking up the walkie-talkie, and we pulled over on the side of the highway. Dad was mad as a fart mind you,so, he sent my aunt and the vanload of us all over to get the tire from the OTHER side of the highway to see if we could reattatch it and be on our merry way.

SO! My aunt and i RUN across the highway and retrieve the tire, get it in the van, and find a Budget rental truck parked infront of us. Apparently the tire bounced across the highway and HIT the trucks front bumper. The driver apparently called the cops, and so we sat there waiting for the pigs to arive.

THREE HOURS LATER
No pigs yet. The truck driver was outside our car window talking to us, and he kept calling in asking for the dispatch that APPARENTLY was sent from Mt. Vernon.A random highway partollman FINALY sees my folks pulled over, had NO idea about it, and sent for a tow truck, got all the papers and jaz from my folks, and then came to us to check out the Budget truck.

We finaly decided to take my dad into Vernon to see if he could get parts from Autozone so he could fix it himself (my dad is a mechanic at FedEx).
8 frickin 30 at night. We sat in the parking lot for an hour waiting for him, onlt for him to come out to tell us they only had one of what he needed! :furious:

SO back to the camper on the side of the road we go. My mom had been calling insurance, and they were supposed to send us a tow truck. WELL NOTHING WAS OPEN BEACUSE OF THE DUMB HOLIDAY, so we couldent get a tow, but we couldent stay on the side of the road. About an hour later, dad gets ahold of a tow, but they are an hour away, AND it would cost 350$ of our DISNEY MONEY to fix it, not to mention it would take us an extra 3 hours out of out trip. One to get there, one to fix it, and one to take it back. BULLHOCKEY!! :furious: BUT! dad found an in town tow who came right out, fixed it up just enough to make it till tomarrow, and we were on our way w/ in an hour. SO after we WAISTED 5 HOURS ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY the trip started going again, untill we stoped in Wal-Mart parking lot for the night somewhere in Kentucky.

Day Two Tomarrow!! :sunny: :thumbsup2

Sorry its been awhile y'all, ive been buisy. The next post on Day 2 will be sometime later today! Promise! :thumbsup2

Please do! I'm still waiting for you to actually GET to DISNEY!!!

 DAY TWO!! YAY!!

Alright! We got up about 7 on Satuday morning and were driving again by 8, so we made good time getting out of Kentucky. We stoped in Campers World to get the camper fixed well enough to get us to Orlando, then we would have to get it fixed again.

THATS BESIDES THE POINT!!

Georga, about 6pm. We stoped in a rest aria, and I had just woken up from a nap while watching "Elf", and dad was checking out the camper. turns out the oil on our new-and-improved fixed tire melted, and we couldent fix it. So, dad went into town to get parts..yada yada..and he eventualy ended up staying w/ the camper at the rest aria while the rest of the party went past the Florida border to stay in a motel. We all got up early Sunday morning, and we drove to Ft. Wilderness by noon. FINALLY WDW!!

We rented a cabin for 250$ a night, just one night beacuse dad was on his way w/ the camper, and he would get there aroun 11, so he had to park in overstock beacuse we already payed for the cabin. BUT ANYWAYS!

We HAD reservations for Sci-Fi at 1:20 that afternoon, but I REFUSED to eat there w/o my dad. so mom moved our reservations till Wendsday.

We hit Animal Kingdom, mainly beacuse dad doesent like that park, and My cousin, aunt and I rode Dinosaur(one of my "rocks my face" rides) and my cousin got the poop scared outa him. Didnt get to rideEverest, mainly ebacuse all the Fast Passes were gone and it was a 100 minute wait. I guess il ride it in December.

Later that night after we all settled in and heard from dad, my mom, sister, aunt, cousin and myself took the boat over to the Contemporary(sp) MY HOTEL! (sereousley, this hotel rocks my face! were staying there when we go for christmas) to play in the arcade for about 5 hours.

Daddy showed up around 10, w/ a fixed camper! Yay! :yay: So, overall, we didnt really lose that much time, and everything was OK in the end. For now atleast
