Scissors, razors in checked luggage?

I know you are not able to carry on scissors or disposable razors anymore. Does that mean that they are not permitted in checked luggage too? I'm flying Continental.:)
 
There is a revised list in today's USA Today. Most items that were not allowed before still aren't as far as I can tell, but you can have tweezers and nail clippers. I think razors too.

Those items are definitely okay in your checked luggage.
I found the list for carry-ons in the Wall Street Journal today, so I will post it later. It was pretty interesting! It said that disposable razors ARE allowed in carry-on, as are some other interesting items (restaints?! and parachutes, as long as they do NOT have the cartridge that causes them to open?!).
