Are the movie clips scary for younger children? How dark does it get in there? I really want to try it since I love scifi and b rated movies, And I don't eat meat and there is a vegetarian shepards pie I want to try, but I'm not sure how my kids would do. Anyone know what movies they play? All info I have found so far is from several years ago.

Its still the same, partial 2 or 3 minute clips from old 1950's scifi movies. If anyone of any age were to be frightened I would be shocked. Think about the attack of the 50 foot woman. Also the black bean burger is pretty good.

My DS first went there when he was 2 and he was fine. It's pretty kitschy 50's science fiction stuff.

It is dark due to it being a theater, but is not a creepy restaurant at all. It feels very wholesome. A few of the retro science fiction movie clips are pseudo-scary ("the 50 foot monster is attacking the woman"...), but nothing really scary. A sensitive toddler might have an issue, but a typical child will not.
