Sci-Fi with 3 seating?

I can come up with 3 ways for this:

1) in a car with one person having to sit alone either in front or back of the other 2

2) in a car with a chair pulled up to the table

3) at the picnic tables

Can anyone who has dined here with 3 give me some idea of what our seating arrangement is likely to be? Thanks!

You can ask for a "car table"...It is a regular table that you sit face-to-face and side-by-side with a car front and back...Only issue is that you do not face the movie screen directly, you will have to turn your chair or head slightly to see straight on...We actually perfer this type of table because we think it is odd to have your back to people in your party...It is also better if you plan to ahve any kind of conversation. We see people that do not say a word to each other the entire time they are there...That is weird to us.

You can also go with the picnic tables in the back or sit two in one row and one in the other...No chair next to the table.

Thanks. I've only been there once and didn't pay much attention to seating arrangements. Should I call now with my request for a car table or just tell them when we arrive? (I've already made our ADRs)

We ate ther when dd was 10. She sat in the front seat and was the driver, and dh and I sat in back of her. I think they say others in back of us too...but I don't remember. she was fine with it because she enjoyed watching the silly movies on the screen, and she is usually one who doesn't like to sit by herself at all.

We loved it there!

You can make request for the table when you get there. Those tables are usually the first to be available anyway. You can call to add the request to your ADR if you want to be sure. But you should be fine to wait.

Have fun!!

We were at Sci Fi for lunch last week. We were a party of 3 adults. Without requesting anything we were seated in a car, 2 in the front, 1 in the back.

we were a party of 6 girls...we actually were able to fit 3 in a row of the cars. (we ranged in weight from about 120 to 150 pounds..if that helps)

Our dd did the same thing & she loved it. When she was little we would all sit in the same row.

We usually go as a group of 3 and I think there have always been other diners in our car.

This was how we were seated also.

We have eaten there several times, and 3 in a seat is just not comfortable. My daughter was little, still is at only 54 lbs, and we were tight in the seat. I suggest if you want the car facing the movie screen, then you should sit 2 and 1 in the rows. Or, as stated earlier, you could request a table, but I thought they used those for bigger parties.
