I've checked out the menu for Sci-Fi, but didn't see chicken fingers on the kids menu. please say it isn't so! Also, fries are by request- do we pay extra for them? We have the DDP.
Our DS is SOOOO picky and will be totally grossed out by the chicken pizza and hamb. mac.

I would be so surprised if the chicken fingers weren't available. The wording for the fries is because fries are optional now! You wouldn't be charged extra.

Disney is trying to make the kids menus more healthy My DS likes hamburgers, hotdogs & pizza all with fries. Fries & sodas are still available with the kids meals for no extra charge, in place of the the healthier sides/drinks. Also, don't be worried about the chicken pizza. Just order it without the chicken, that's what my DS does.

I've never had a problem requesting chicken nuggets in WDW. They will find him some, with fries!

When we ate here the last two or three times, there were no chicken fingers/nuggets. They were not even available. I asked before we ordered, and I was told they didn't even have any in the kitchen. I have 4 year old twins who only eat chicken so this is what I do.

I do some switching of food. I have my DS who is 11 and has to order as an adult, order the Italian Grilled Chicken Sandwich - with bruschetta topping served on a kaiser roll. Served with choice of cucumber-melon salad or fries. He orders it plain and with the Fries.

I take the chicken off the bun, and I give that to my twins cut up. Then I give my DS both my twins kid meals. He gets salad for the appetizer and Mac and Cheese and the Hamburger. So it works out fine because it fills him up and the twins still get chicken and FF.

This is what I will be doing this year too when we eat at Sci-Fi.
