Sci Fi Diner--are the movies science fiction?

Hi all!

I have not eaten at the Sci Fi Diner in about 15 years. The movies that were shown then were science fiction black and white movies, mainly about gigantic ants and such. I'm just wondering if that is the same thing shown. Thanks in advance--I have a 9 year old boy who will be disappointed if it is just old movie clips.

Last time we went they had Disney cartoons! I would have been disappointed too if thats all they showed. Classic Mickey cartoons are much better!!!

It is still the same basic show ... I LOVE IT so my opinion is that you don't want to mess with perfection.

You are treated to a lot of old Drive-In commercials advertising Food & Drinks and telling you to return broken speakers, and no public displays of affection and such

There is a Tom & Jerry cartoon as well as many clips of what they thought the future would be back in the 50s. Kitchen of the future, cars that drive themselves, and video phones.

They also show a cartoon of "The Cat Who Hated People" and a whole bunch of clips from old B movies like the 50 foot man, Women from Mars, bug and alien flicks. It does loop but I think the loop is an hour or so by the time it starts to loop around again you should be almost ready to go. (I think that was the point )

we took my sons when they were 7 and 9 and they LOVED it...then, when we returned at ages 11 and 13, it was one of only 2 restaurants that they insisted we repeat...and, it's already on the list for "next time"...whenever that may be!
