Sci - F Same Day

chances of getting a same day reservation? for 6? any tips? I missed the day reservations opened, and check back obsessively, but of course, nothing

Get in the app early, if I remember correctly, you can do this before park opening if you're an onsite hotel guest... I can't remember how close you have to be, but go to the Map, switch to dining, select Sci Fi and click Join walk-up wait list. Alternatively, click + sign at the bottom, check dining availability and click the current date, then Now for time. Do these day of park visit.

If you can't do it before you get to the park, get to the park early and do it as soon as you get there

This list usually fills up for the day by 11am, but as long as you get on it early in the day, you should get called back at some point.

I'd say the info that you got is great! I'd add it might be worth trying the Touring Plans Reservation Finder too.
