Do you like school? A majority of the time. But I think anyone, even if they couldn't love school more, can agree that sometimes it's a royal pain in the ****.
Have you gotten your schedule yet? No. We chose our classes around Feb. but we don't get our schedules until less than a week before school. Even then it's just a rough estimate. When we show up to school the first day we get our final schedule when we report to the gym to get them.
What is it? N/A
Does your school allow backpacks? Yes. You can use any sort of carrying device (typical "backpack", oversided purse, tote bag, plastic grocery bag, whatever). There are several things our school doesn't allow but if they didn't allow backpacks, there would be a revolt. I know I would personally go insane. One finds it hard to find the time to stop at your locker when you only have 5 minutes to get yourself from one side of the school to the next...especially if you have to go through the Freshman hall to get there!
Does your school allow shorts? Yes. No AC plus no shorts would make for very cranky (for lack of un-censored words) staff and students!
How many periods in your day? 9
Favorite subject? English. It always has been
Favorite thing about your school day? Leaving. In all seriousness, likely the time before school actually starts and we just chill in our "corner" (which we established as ours first day of freshman year and has been for the past 2 years. It's a place where we just chill in the morning, sometimes we talk and sometimes you just sit there, but you know that you can just get off your bus and sit there and it won't be long before someone comes and joins you. Unfortunatly, we're all juniors this year and we're not making our way upstairs and on the other side of the school just to sit there so we'll need to find a new "corner" for the next 2 years.).
Describe your lockers. Full sized, built-in lock, we get to pick them (except for the freshman's whose are in alphabetical order.
What grade are you in? I'll be a junior (11th grade for those of you who do a different system and still don't know what I'm talking about). The fact that I'm a junior is still unbelievable to me. It really does come super quickly.
