I'm looking at some December dates for Disneyland. I don't want to go when it's really busy, so when do you kids have Winter/Christmas break from school? Mine will have it 12/21-1/6, but I was thinking of going the 18th-20th.

My son will have the same days off as you mentioned. But I have a bad feeling that the whole end of December is probably pretty darn crowded. The first week I've heard is good in December.

Generally the third week is when it starts to pick up crowd wise so yes I think it will be busy then regardless if kids get it off or not!

We are in Oregon and our break is the same as yours. We are going 12-11 to 12-16 (stay away people, I want it uncrowded)

The So. Cal. AP blockout dates are 12-21 through 1-5. Usually means that's when DL is expected to be the busiest.

I live in Reno, Nv and our dates are the same. We are going to DL Dec 14-19. We went last year for the same basic dates and it was awesome. Practically no waits anywhere except on Saturday. We spent most of that day at CA and couldn't have been happier. I think I finally have the girls' principal trained to accept the fact that we will be gone for a week while school is in session. And if they don't like it well...tough!:woohoo: We're going to DL.

We're in Hawaii and most of the schools get out here on Friday, the 14th. Return times vary. Some go back as early as the 3rd. Others don't go back till the 7th.

I was going to go from the 14th to the 20th, but I was afraid it would be too busy. We're now thinking of Jan. 4 -9th. Not sure which would be better, though.

Hey neighbor! We live in Reno too. I'll just be starting to train my son's principal this year with a week off in October. I have a feeling they aren't going to be very happy about it. But oh well, Disneyland is educational too, right? I mean you got pirates, small world, "Space" Mountain ect.. Good educational material! :lmao:
