There used to be a website that charted all of the most popular school supplies, and their price at certain stores by week.

I don't know about that particular website, but I just wanted to chime in what we do. Us Moms get together and buy in bulk from Discount School Supply. We've been doing this for a while now, save a ton of money. Highly recommend.
