We're going this October with my DS4 for his first trip to Disney. He's VERY active and doesn't do too well in restaurants do I wasn't going to plan on very many TS meals. I think he's going to be too excited to spend time in a restaurant. Besides, it's food and wine at epcot and we can just eat our way around a few times (I'm really looking forward to all the different apps and things) and DH and I are just as happy with CS. We're staying at YC just so we can be by the variety of foods in Epcot. Anyway, here's my preliminary schedule, what do you guys think? I can't show it to DH, he's tired of hearing about Disney and doesn't like to plans things so I have to plan it and make it seem spontaneous.

Sat, Oct 13th: Arrival day, dinner at ESPN

Sun: Cape May character breakfast, MK whole day w/CS lunch and dinner

Mon: Epcot, CS lunch and either CS (most likely) or Coral Reef (the only reason is for the fish, but he can see those elsewhere) for dinner

Tues: AK, pool in the afternoon, MNSSHP at night (if it's a party night) CS lunch @AK and dinner at MK

Wed: MGM CS lunch, swimming at hotel, dinner at Cape May

Thurs: Epcot, CS lunch, dinner in Mexico (DS LOVES mexican food and the atmosphere seems cool

Fri: pool in the AM and MK till 9pm closing for fireworks, CS for dinner, maybe Beaches and Cream for lunch?

This will be the first of hopefully many trips to WDW, I plan on going at least every other year till DS doesn't want to go anymore, so I'm not too concerned about missing out on certain TS restaurants or DTD, or the water parks. This will be my 5th time there so I've seen/done a lot already.

We thought the same thing with our DS, who was 1 week shy of his 3rd birthday last year and will be 1 week shy of his 4th this year. We really thought he would not he would not do well if we had to wait anwhere to long to eat. Boy were we surprised. Once we were in Hollywood and Vine for breakfast with Jo Jo & Goliath or at the CP for Breakfast with Pooh & the gang he did great :thumbsup2 He was so excited about see ing the characters that the only we could get him to leave was to promise to take him on Goofy's Barnstormer. (off topic) No IASW for my little daredevil:thumbsup2 This year he wants to go BTMR:woohoo:
Anyway, I think your little one may surprise you when you get there. Have a great trip

Looks good. My only advice is there are no good CS places in MGM!! I would try the Playhouse Disney character lunch at H&V's. It is suppose to be really fun and interactive, and loud!LOL I have a 4yo DS too and for awhile he was just a nightmare at TS places. He has gotten better, but we try to go to TS places that have characters or a cool atmosphere. Your DS might get a kick out of eating in a car at Sci Fi in MGM. My DS loved it. Also, (well here I go with more advice!LOL)why are you eating twice at Cape May? How about B&C's for dinner on Wed? On Fri you could have a quick CS by the pool at Hurricane Hannah's.

For CS at Epcot we love Sunshine Seasons. Lots of variety.

This is our DS's 6th trip and he just loves it! I'm sure your DS will have a great time. It is so great to get to go back often. You just don't feel rushed when you're there or the need to see/do everything. Knowing that you can go back and see what you missed is the best!! Have a great trip!

We're doing 1 breakfast at Cape May and 1 dinner. I guess we could skip the dinner and grab something quick in Epcot that night and do the Sci Fi in the car. DS would probably LOVE eating in a car...he's obsessed with them. I'll check it out, thanks!
