Scariest thing that happened at school?

Just out of curiosity, what has been the scariest thing you've had happen at school, if anything has happened at all? I know this is kind of random...but I just watched a freakish movie and it kind of made me curious.

My scariest moment at school had to have happened about 2-3 years ago...although it kind of lasted more than just a moment. More like a few weeks. :headache:

I was on my way to a pep-rally when I felt someone running their hand through my hair. I thought it was just one of my friends, so I turned around to talk to them, but there was no one there. So I was just like "Ok..." figured it was just someone being a bone-head and kept going. Well, who ever it was started doing it again, but I just kind of figured that if I ignored them they'd get tired of it and go away. They didn't.

Who ever it was followed me all the way to the gym, until we were in sight of the teachers and then he left me alone. By the time I got there I was kind of freaked out. I didn't know who that person was, why they were following me and I really just wanted to be left alone. But I kind of found comfort in the fact that the gym was crowded. I could go sit somewhere in stands and chances are they wouldn't really be able to find me again.

So I did and then after the pep rally was over I started to go back to class. I didn't think anything would happen again...because I honestly figured that who ever it was would realize how stupid it would look and leave me alone. I mean, really! How would it look to other people, some fruit-cake following someone around (who probably looks completely freaked by then) while running their greasy, germ infested hand through their hair?!

But nope! He did it again and when he did I couldn't just ignore it like last time, so I took off and tried to get to my class as quickly as I could. When I got there, people were all like 'What's the matter?' and I lied and said "Oh, nothing. I'm just tired." Because...I didn't know anything about the freak that had followed me. And the only thing I knew about his looks was that he had semi-long (not really long, but kind of like those band guys. I don't really know how to explain it.) dirty blond hair. And that description could have fit ANYONE. So I figured that no one could do anything about it, even if I told them what happened. I kind of regret that now. :headache:

A few days later I was in the cafeteria, talking to one of my friends. Out of NO WHERE, the guy came and started running his hand not only through my hair, but also DOWN THE SIDE OF MY FACE. :headache:

Again, I never got a good look at him, because I left immediately and started towards the opposite side of the cafeteria. My friend followed close behind and was like "What in the world was that?! Who is he?!" And I was just like "I dunno, but he's been following me around and I don't know who he is and I don't know what to do!"

It went on like that for a few weeks, until the semester ended. He'd even follow me outside and like...watch as I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. And I know I should have told an adult and gotten them to do something about it, but I had honestly never seen this guy before in my life. I didn't know his name or what grade he was in and the physical description I could have given honestly could have fit thousands of guys. And I did tell my mom...but she was just like "Well, maybe he just likes you."

But if he did, then who in the world was he?! Was he my age? Younger? Older? And even if he did, what on earth invaded his mind to cause him to think it was ok to follow me around and TOUCH ME?

I definitely know what they mean now tho, when people say 'You never know what you're going to do in a situation until you're actually in it'. Stalkers are not fun. :headache:

Wow. That turned out longer than I thought it was going to. So ANYWAYZ! :D

What has been you're most frightening moment at school?!

This is really stupid, but I'm clumsy. I tripped over my foot in gym the second week of school in the 7th grade. I broke my collarbone. I couldn't walk up stairs, it hurt. I couldn't buckle my pants, I had to ask this girl I barely knew from field hockey to do it for me. I was bawling my eyes out in front of the guy I liked. I had to sit in front of everyone because my teacher let me sit in his chair. The nurse AND my mom didn't believe me and made me stick it out the rest of the day.

I was fed up, DEMANDED my mom take me to the doctors. We got an x-ray and sure enough I broke my collarbone. A week later I went back to school and had taken a painkiller - unbeknowest to me it was illegal to go to school. We had a team meeting in one of the rooms and it was so crowded. I thought the room starting spinning and I got hot (nausea). It was definitely a scary time in school for me. (Not overall in life though)

Someone with a gun drawn decided to trounce onto our campus and put us in lockdown for a few hours.

Some of the scariest moments of my life right there.

Probally yesterday was the scariest moment for me at school...

In my math class there are alot of drug addicts...
Well to my luck I seem to always be put next to them...
Currently I sit next to the worst one of all...
Is a extremely angry person
So yesterday he decided he didnt want to sit in his seat...
So our teacher tells him he has to well he blows up and starts throwing things at me and my friend Katie
I mean things like his skateboard and his backpack
He was frowing them at our head....
Luckily only one thing hit me (his backpack...)
So the teacher says to the student quit that immediately
He blows up and starts sceaming and yelling cuss words at our teacher
He then walks toward me and Katie and looks like he wants to punch the day lights out of us...
Were terrified by then and our teacher had to pull him off and get another teacher to call the police to our classroom
Luckily no one got hurt but it was terrifying since I had done nothing and he just started doing that...
You have no idea how many times I have seen that boy get arrested...

Last year when some guy killed a cop, he was driving around and my school went under lockdown for 2/3 hours. He turned onto a road that led to a different high school, but if he turned in the other direction he would have been at my school.

Thank g0d I havent had to many scary situations in school.

Nothing really scary happened in high school. The most eventful thing was a drug bust my sophomore year of high school. 16 students were arrested at the school. I didn't find out what happened until 6th period but police cars were surrounding the building all day which was really weird. The school paid an undercover cop $60,000 to find all of these drug dealers and they were taken to the auditorium and arrested right there. There was a big article in GQ magazine about it a couple years ago.

Last Week This car was driving down by the walnut orchards across the street from my school. Another car came by and hit the car and The first car's Air Bags deployed on the impact and deflated before he hit a tree. They called a helicopter to our school, but the guy was too unstble to go in it. He ended up dying later that day. Definately very scary.

Bomb threat, and someone came to school with a paintball gun, but everyone thought it was real.

Someone threatened me with a swiss army knife multiple times. He nearly stabbed me as well. Might of suceeded if I wasn't holding my reading book in front of me at the time.

I remember there was an armed bank robber like 2 miles from our school who had escaped and we had to go on lockdown...that was pretty freaky, that was like 6th grade though.
Then my friend had a major seizure in the hallway once, a couple times actually. I don't know if that counts, but it scared the **** out of me

Mine was Valentines Day of my eighth grade year. Two years ago. The Saturday night before, it was me and a bunch of friends went to the movies.. just a girls night. And we saw this boy that we went to school with, he was in our grade but way older. He really liked my friend *Jill. But she had a boyfriend, whom she'd been dating a while. Well my friends being dumb; told him off and everything. Well that next Monday I think it was V- Day. I got to school, and the front gate was locked, so I had to walk all the way around to the gym, when I got there the entire school was in there. I ran up to *Jill and asked her what was going on, and she said that she had no idea.. We overheard the teachers talking and we were in a lock down. I peaked out the window and there were cops, and cop dogs all over the place. Well all of the sudden, the principle come's up behind us grabs us and tells us we have to go. It was me, *Jill, and four other friends, (the one's that all went to the movies.) They had already called our mom's to come get us, but they wouldn't tell us why. We stayed at one of the girls houses all day with our mom's trying to call the school and everywhere to figure out why we were being taken out, when no one else was? No one would tell us though. Well we watched the evening news, come to find out. That boy had brought a knife and gun to school threatening *Jill, and I guess since we were a part of it, we were in danger too. They found the knife thrown on top of the high school, and a gun thrown in a ditch across the street. His 'plan' was to hurt us, and then go find her boyfriend, and hurt him also.. It was very scary, and I still get shaky, and my heart drops everytime I see him. He was in juvy for a few months, then he moved up to Oklahoma or somewhere? and he moved back down here several months ago.. he's always walking the streets (small town) and it freaks me out just seeing him :sad1:

There's a few of them actually...

Last year there was a guy at my elemantary school that I went to with a gun. He went into one of the kindergaten classrooms and said he wanted to see some kid. The teacher said she was going to call the cops if he didn't leave. He ran around the bottom floor of the school for a few minutes and then left the school. The cops later found him on a highway close to the school. I was so glad i wasn't in elemantary school any more.

And another time, I was at some program at the High School during summer vacation. They were re-doing the school while I was there. One of the electritions got electricuted when he touched a light. I was in a classroom when we say a helicopter land infront of the school. He was brought out to the helicopter and brought to the hospital. Later on that night we found out he had died :(

Last year a guy robbed a bank that is a few minutes away from my school. He escaped, but came onto the school grounds. Of crouse, I was in lunch sitting infront of huge windows with no blinds. We all had to evacuate to the gym and it was kind of scary.

Like three month ago, some 9th grader brought a gun to school & threatened to kill 2 teachers. We were off schoool. In lockdown for a few hours too.
Also we were about to go on a field trip, and we were outside walking to the bus, and a squirrel ran up my leg to my stomach ! It was crazy ! Then I got it off. Thank god it didn't bite me.

I forgot we also had bomb threats at my school. Written in the bathroom stalls.

when some crazy guy was threatning my middle school. we stayed under the desks for at least 2 1/2 hours. it was scary!

gas leak. bomb threat. gun scare. lock down after lock down after lock down. tornadoes, earth quakes, storms that kept us at school for an extra hour. ice covered parking lots. power outages.

my 12 years in public school have sucked lol.

I haven't really had any bizzare or scary things, besides the regular drug searches. I feel lucky. :P

The bomb threat last year and the year before, and a gun threat last year too. So far we haven't had any lockdowns this year, which is really surprising.

Oh and in 6th grade when there was a tornado warning, and the sky was green. It was so scary we had to go out in to hall and cover our heads.

In middle school we had a bomb threat written in a girl's bathroom, and I heard that they had even spelled bomb wrong!

This year (actually last week) a guy came into our school while school was still in session and pulled the fire alarm. I heard that he wasn't even from our school! Some of the students had seen the video from our security cameras, and said that he looked much older than a high school student. We were on lock down for the entire week.
