:goodvibes I never thought I'd want to think about Halloween in February but planning our trip for this year has me super excited. We've never been to the MNSSHP. I'd love to hear about your experience and see your pictures.

I don't know how to post picks, but I can tell you about it. :thumbsup2 GREAT PARADE. The headless horseman starts it off by galloping down Main St. The fireworks are amazing! VERY well done. To go TOTing you go to different stops and they give you candy. -I will NEVER eat another one of those Crabby Patties again :lmao: - Lines aren't as long as normal days. If your going on HAlloween, It's PACKED so I would go on another day (we did and it was just as great). I hope this helped! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info. I hope others will join in and post some pictures we haven't seen on the boards yet. Anyone out there??

Hello-

This is my absolute favorite thing to do at Disney World. I can't post a picture either, so I will list some things I love about MNSSHP.
1. Minimal lines for rides - you can ride over and over again
2. Extra Dining reservation times for the party
3. Dance Party with the Characters
4. Extra Characters you don't normally see- Tarzan and Jane for example
5. A awesome parade w/ a headless horseman
6. Amazing decorations
7. A remarkable Villians stage show
8. Cute trick or treating stations for the kids ( adults can too) Not cheap candy either middle of the range
9. Great photo opportunities around the haunted castle

Have a great time- I am there last week of September and first few days of October and this is a can't miss for me.
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I would also want to see some pictures of that, we haven't tried going during Halloween but planning for this year.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Thanks for the list! I didn't know about the special dinner reservations! I hope others will continue with this thread to feed my addiction. :goodvibes

Oooh, me too, me too! My sister and I are going for the first time this year. Please, I would love to hear more and see pics!!!!!!!!!!

I went for the first time last year and can't wait to go back this year! Rides are a walk-on. There is a great photo op in front of Cinderella's glass carriage and then with a princess/prince team (it varies based on their breaks. When we got in line it was Cinderella and Prince Charming but by the time we got there it was Sleeping Beauty and her prince.) The place is completely decked out for the holiday. There is creepy/fun fog and special lighting effects all over. The CM's at the the Haunted Mansion go all out and have special makeup for the night. Oh, and there's a great photo op in front of the horseless hearse by the Haunted Mansion. When you get the picture, there's a ghost driving the hearse! The parade is great and the fireworks are amazing! The villian's mix and mingle is a lot of fun and you get the chance to have photos with them at the end which is great because they aren't out a lot at the parks. Some advice for this though. There is no photo pass person there so you have to use your own camera and take your photos and they won't sign autographs. You also need to scope out where the villians line up because lines form fast and there isn't a lot of time to line hop. I was lucky and got pictures with Maleficent, Cruella, and the Evil Queen from Snow White. All in all, this is a great party and a terrific chance for everyone (including adults) to dress up and have fun. I wish October would hurry up and get here!

Ooh; great info Stacy, thanks for posting. My DD will love the carriage. The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorites so I'm excited about that part. Halloween is so much fun. Hopefully someone will post some pictures soon. Hint Hint.......:surfweb:
