Scam email warning

I received the following email this morning, and confirmed with Paypal that it is a scam. I just wanted to warn anyone who gets a similar email, because it looks very real. The red flag to me was the subject line of the email said "Verify your Paypal Account." My account has never been verified, and it is not neccessary to verify your account to use Paypal:

We recently have determined that different computers have logged into your PayPal account, and multiple password failures were present before the login. One of our Customer Service employees has already tryed to telephonically reach you. As our employee did not manage to reach you, this email has been sent to your notice.
Therefore your account has been temporary suspended. We need you to confirm your identity in order to regain full privileges of your account.
If this is not completed by November 8, 2005, we reserve the right to terminate all privileges of your account indefinitly, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.

Yep...I've gotten those, too. Scary, but a total scam. I just forward them to paypal and let them deal with them.

I then open a new window and go to Paypal to check my history...all is always fine.

I've gotten these too. And some that are supposedly from my bank, my mortgage company, and my credit card company.

I get those almost daily! Along with some that say a name was added to your paypal acount....I honestly can't believe people fall for that stuff but I guess they must or they wouldn't keep sending them!
