Scal users... Help me!

So yesteday the dh got me scal. It's on my computer and I have already downloaded a bunch of fonts and even did a cut title. My dh was actually interested in it. I was showing him all the awesome swap pieces on the swap thread... I guess he saw me drooling.

Anyway I got the letter, welding, and such down I believe, but I want to be able to to images like I see other do. I download inkscape... . I would love to make paper piecings images for swaps and myself. Where is there a tutorial or blog that will help me learn how to do this with the SCAL. Direct me where I need to go... please.
