SBer's...need some help finding items!

I am searching for antique looking brads and eyelets. 1/8 in. eyelets with the brads being a little bigger. I can find mini's, but I don't want them. I have searched everywhere in town and tonight ran to the nearest Michael's. All the had was silver and gold.

Any idea where I can find some?

Have you tried walmart? The one here had a big selection of eyelets in general. There was a pack of 6 "colors" that were all different metallics, some of them being antiqued. Good price, only 4.48, but I didn't need them...They had colors too, even though I know you don't need that. I didn't see any brads...I'm in WNC if that gives you any reference...

Well if worse comes to worse and ya find embossing powder in the right color you could "make your own"

It doesnt seem that hard to do... but then again I am domestically challanged hence I havent tried it...

Buying either the silver or the gold and distressing them with sandpaper?
