SB'ers I missed my one celebrity photo op!!!

We were in NYC this weekend for a wedding and as we were walking to the rehearsal dinner we stopped to cross the street...we were on 6th down by Canal street......It was quiet and I look next to me and standing right next to me is a girl talking on her cell phone.....looks familiar. I look to DH, no change in his expression, hhmmm....does he realize who she is, maybe I am wrong......Turn back to look at her straight in the face......yup, sure enough, Monica Lewinsky.....scandal queen herself!!

Do you think I snapped a picture.....the digital was slung around my neck like the worst tourist you have ever seen (map in the other hand)........NOPE! No picture.......duh! I never see anyone famous....or infamous as the case may be!

She was very exasperated with whomever she was speaking with on her cell phone! I didnt want her to snap my head off! Maybe she was talking to Bill and Hillary wouldnt let him come out to play!!!

I started to say, "I wonder if Bill was on the other end of the line." Did you hubbie recognize her, too? And, what did she look like? All dolled up or just dressed like you or me? Inquiring minds want to know.

DH knew who she was......she was just dressed casually in black, like you or I would......you know....regular people who dont have affairs with the president!

Mmmmmmmm, the only thing I would wonder about is what kind of embellishments you would have put on her page so people would know who she was.....

I would find a picture of her (one on her feet of course) and I woud do a page of why you didn"t take the picture. Maybe you were afraid that she would notice your dh (we wouldn't want another scandal) I here she was the pushy one.

We saw Jamie Lee Curtis on an elevator in a hotel in Austin Texas once...The elevator was going up and we were waiting on a down elevator...I'm lugging DD (who was about a 18 months at the time) and the diaper bag...Elevator doors open and DH steps on the elevator (I'm thinking 'this one is going up') and says "hello..." Of course I am about to be really offended that he would be all friendly to another woman on an elevator with his wife lugging his baby two feet behind him until I realize it's Jamie Lee Curtis. She was so cute and all talking and playing with DD...Did I bother to get a picture? NO

But it still made a funny story to write in DD's baby book!

Believe me, she's not the "celeb" I would have been seeking out! But it was cool to see someone infamous!!!

I'll hold off for someone more worthy before I scrap a celeb!
