SB: What a great sale!

I'm on the email list for my local scrapbook store. I received an email last week that this weekend EVERYthing in the store is 25% off. A newbie friend (newer than I am!) & I spent almost two hours at the store this afternoon. We had so many bags that the owner helped us carry our bags to the car!

I bought two K&Company Navy albums. There are other military albums plus a Fire Department one. I bought some extra pages - just in case . I haven't opened it yet.

I bought several Pioneer 12"x12" albums - she had a nice selection of colors - & extra pages with protectors. I found a handful of stickers & papers I just "had to have" - Halloween, Christmas, wedding. She has a nice selection of embossed stickers & borders, too.

I find the prices in this store to be VERY competitive with Michael's & AC Moore. Actually many prices are lower than Michael's. I know Michael's frequently has coupons, but I don't get the newspapers they advertize in & they have no coupons in the store .

What a great sale! Now I have my work cut out for me!

LOL Judith! I just came from Michaels myself and spent wayyyyy too much money...All the Stickers were 25% off and I just went crazy! I finally found some Doctor stickers that I had been looking for too! So, now I will be scrappin' all night long!

Wow! What a great sale! Wish our LSS would do that. I think one time everything was 10% off. But she does give a 40% off coupon once a month!

Beanie, I understand about spending way to much money! I forgot to mention I went to Michael's earlier in the week forthe 25% off sale & bought a couple albums, some stickers & a book with holiday pages.

My long term goal is to go through all my old photo albums & redo them into scrapbooks. The two big lessons I have learned since scrapbooking are that I do not have to keep every photo I take & it is ok to cut up my photos.

This is so addictive!
