I said I'd love to do fall tags -
my advise here is to start a new thread though - instead of being a thread thief!

You might get more interest that way!
You can post it on the chat board we started too!
Don't forget someone can buy stuff if they don't feel comfortable making anything yet! (example 10 eyelets per person or 1 yard of fiber per person - in fall or halloween colors of course!)
That way they can get their feet wet with swaps first!

Oh gosh! Now you want me to be creative ! I cannot find Spinning's original post about the summer swap, so I don't know all the categories. Maybe I could try a border - I noticed the summer one I received didn't have to be 12" long, so that way I wouldn't have to be creative for a whole foot . Ok, let's say/try borders.

Does this mean I have journal boxes or not ? I'm confused ? Also would you guys mind a journal box with a fall phase already printed on it ? It would be printed on vellum attached with a gold brad ( making the printed journaling removable if you don't like it ) . I have the new Jazzy cutting pattern and made a mock up for the fall swap . I used both patterns and chalked the edges . It looks sort of like a tag , but it is definetly meant to be used as a journal box.

Hmmm... I'm confused. I thought the concensus was to wait until the Character Swap was over to start the Fall swap. Did I miss something? (And shouldn't the Fall swap have it's own thread for sign-ups, etc?) Just a little confused here.

I think we all got excited. I agree it probably needs its own thread also. I know I got overly excited ( hence the mock up I have already made for fall journal boxes ) in part because I finished my character swap so soon . Once one person started posting what they would like to do we all chimed in . We may need to let our hostess come up with more specific details ( how many items , fall and holiday , or just fall , etc. ) before making any final decisions ( sp ? ).

i missed so much already!! I definately want to be in the fall and fall holiday swap! My DD (distigger) would love to participate too if there is something simple for her to do, we are both seasoned scrappers but totally new to these newfandlged things like shaker boxes - LOL b/c I love them all!!!

I won't push for any particular sign-up since we seem to be getting ahead of ourselves and I'm thinking the hostess is flexible on what we swap to suit what everyone is comfortable making? (read between the lines - I'll do most anything that I'm comfortable with, after seeing the fantastic quality of this summer swap I don't want to try something new for y'all)
