SB: Greeting card verses

I have been making quite a few greeting cards lately. It has taken me longer to come up with the verse then it has to make the actual card. I have found several sites for page toppers, quotes and scrapping poems but I haven't found any for greeting card verses. Anyone have any good ones bookmark?

Hi Chessie

I get some bits from here and also pick up bits and pieces from Peasoup on TwoPeas.

I've also found some stuff on Granpa Tucker's here.

What I also do though is cut out verses, quotes, poems from any cards that are sent to me and my family ~ if they are precious though, I photo copy.

I then file these in a boxfile in catergory so that I can refer to it quickly. I also keep an index card with each one I save and make a note of whom I used it for and the occassion and year.

I mean, I would hate to send the same "Best Friend in the World" poem to my friend every year! LOL

Hace you tried the Scrapbooker's Best Friend? I have the special combination edition, which volumes 1 and 2 and Quotes and Scriptures. It is by EK Success and I have found it handy when scrapbooking. It includes phrases and poems about all kinds of things. You might want to check it out in your LSS.

I really like the Quote garden. There are quite a lot of categories to choose from and the search is also pretty good.

I have seen the Scrapbookers Best Friend. My friend has it and really likes it.

I just found this site in my bookmarked file. It was hiding in the wrong folder. I am pretty sure I got it from someone here.

On the same topic of inspiration for greeting cards and scrapbooking, I saw this in the Current catalog tonight--

It was called the "Finding the Right Words Organizer" it had pockets for labeled with categories like "encouragement" "birthday" "sympathy" etc... it also had examplys and ideas too.
