I was just looking at Scrapyourtrip site and they have microbeads and then next to it is a "brayer" (it looks like a little roller)...question...what is it? do you use it to roll out the beads?

and what type of adhesive do you put your embellishments on with?

I have some sand I want to adhere and have no clue what to use?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I used to work at a scrapbook store. The best thing I've found for adhereing microbeads is the double sided tape like the Scrappy Tape from Magic Scraps. Magic Scraps has several size rolls or you get can an 8x10 sheet to die cut or cut shapes out of. It is a very strong tape! If you die cut it, you can peel the orange(ish) colored side off and place it down in a pile of microbeads. If you press lightly, the microbeads will stick to it. You can continue to do this until the item is covered. If you want, the brayer can be used to roll over the item to pick up and set the microbeads. You can also roll the brayer over the beaded side and press the beads more firmly into the tape.

As far as the rolls of tape go, you can use those if you have something small you want beads on. You can just place a strip or two of tape over the item and then follow the same procedure to get the beads on it.

You can purchase the Magic Scraps tape at
www.magicscraps.com

I hope that helps!
