Hi there, I am currently following WW Core plan and doing okay with it. I have lost almost 14 pounds with 17 more to go and still feeling optimistic. I do lurk her often and wanted to dive in!

We do this as a family now, my DD has lost over 35 pounds, my DDIL almost 27. I am trailing but I have not been able to take the big step and add exercise into my life. That is the next hurdle I cross.

Anyway, just saying Hi and Thank You.
 
Congratulations!

You and family are doing great! I WISH I had that kind of support at home. I would guess it is easier that way.

You might add in that exercise a little at a time. Stop over at the monthly exercise challenge and get started. You pick your own goal and report back with progress. It is a good way to get going and will hopefully keep you motivated. You can start small and see where you can go from there.

Your success is really inspiring. I tried Core and never did get the hang of it, I do Flex now. It is awesome that you can do this with your family.

You'll have to share some of the secrets of your success with us. ;)
 

Thank you all for the warm welcome! My DD stops by this board often, we are Disney Fanatics.

I was never able to stay on Flex, I manipulated the points in order to eat what I wanted so I never could be successful. My best motivation comes from the girls. I would never sabotage them so I have to stay on track. I am going to stop by the exercise thread, thanks for inviting me! I really want to waer a bathing suit :yay:

I'm doing Core now and I really like it. I did Flex when I first started WW and I feel that core is helping me to really eat better, not just lose weight.

Definitely try exercise! Can't tell you how great it is to enter my 45 minutes of jogging and get 5 extra flex points. I started with walking and have moved up to jogging. Signed up for a Feb half marathon and am really enjoying the training. I think exercise is a key ingredient for a healthy lifestyle - it's just a matter of getting started and then finding that exercise that you truly enjoy, be it walking, dance, swimming, running, yoga, pilates, whatever!
