Saying goodbye to the final back to the future ride. Universal Studios Japan (video)

Hello all you wonderful people,
May 31st, 2016 was a red letter day for fans of the back to the future series. No one slipped and hit their head on a toilet causing them to have a picture in their of the flux capacitor, what makes time travel possible. No unfortunately this was the day that the Back to the Future ride, the final one in the world closed. Though the ride was outdated, though the characters were still going to to year 2015 in the year 2016. Fans still loved the ride. Unlike the closing at the parks state side. There is a ok to cosplay policy in Japan. So tons of fans dressed up as characters from the series and descended to the park to ride the ride one last time. Doc Brown himself, as played by someone working for the park came out and said "goodbye" before driving off in the time machine.

I could tell you more, or I could show you. Because I was there for this event!

If you like the series or have ever ridden the ride, this will give you a load of nostalgia.

Absolutely wonderful! I'm a huge fan of the films, as well as the ride obviously. It's wonderful to see all the people dressed up and supporting for the final day. It was great to see Doc saying goodbye and officially leaving.

On another note, while all the rides are gone, it's nice that when I go to USF I still see Doc around and see the DeLorean and the train. It's good to see that while that ride may not be in existence anymore, that they continue to play the theme song around Universal and that a piece of BTTF is still around, especially Doc.
