My hubby keeps looking at them on Ebay, he says he's just looking, but I wouldn't be surprised if he buys an unlocked one from the US on ebay before the year is out

My DH does that as well. Just looking :lmao: He just bought one of the i -pod touch so that will have to do him for a bit. It is inevitable though :lmao:

Am I the only one that thinks the iPhone is way over hyped? :confused3

OK, it looks nice and has some nice gimmicky touch screen features, but there are so many other negatives with it - no 3G and poor 2G Edge coverage on O2(30% of UK), rubbish camera, no video camera, no picture messaging, can't change battery, limited memory music storage.

The Gadget show did a review of it comparing it to one of the Nokia phones. They did various challanges and the Nokia won hands down. The presenter that had the i phone o wanted it to win purely as it is the gadget to have bout had to admit although it looked good it was not yet up to speed :)

I personally can't see what all the fuss is about it, I admit I haven't actually seen one in person yet though.

Apparently in the paper this week it was stated that many people will get there I Phone in France as they have a law that means phones have to be available for any network and not just one. So you can get you I Phone out there & choose the network you want rather then having an 18 month contract with O2 over here and it could work out cheaper.

I don't think it will be long until it is hacked to unlock it over here though.

We saw it in the carphone warehouse £285 and £35 a month contract.
