Saw something Strange at the mall tonight......

In the Mall, there is a "Kids Play area" and standing right in front of the entrance was a GUARD! He was dressed in Polo shirt and Pants, and carried a WALKIE TALKIE! I guess this is what our country has come too, guards for our children, while they play........

Actually, as sad as it may be, I think it is a great idea!! Does he babysit??

Sad as it is, I bet you anything he was there to make sure parents didn't leave their kids unattended.

I didn't think about that. You are probably right though.

I think you are right disykat! Years ago I worked in a mall that had a dropped center area with benches and parents were always "dropping off" their kids while they shopped.

I would assume that would be the likely answer, because there is no way one guard would know which children came in with which adult unless they were to have a ticket or something.

When I worked at TDS that was someone's job...to make sure kids didn't come in to hang out unattended..
