saw a thread on another board and wanted to put my response here too

They were discussing the need for a "TRADE NICE" pin. Though my idea is not quite what they were talking about, but I have a shark pin in the international "NO" symbol being made. The design is completed the job quotes are in and I am almost ready to start the pin. I also have a second pin in the works that is for life in general, but most assuredly pertains to pin trading immensely. Let me know what you guys and gals think. Will have to wait a bit more before stamping as the hold-up is financial difficulties at this time.

Being a REGULAR at WDW I see a HUGE need to remind people this IS a hobby for 90% of us and a way to keep the Disney magic and spirit in our homes, hearts and minds when others can't be as close as some of us more fortunate people can. If anyone has a cool way to raise $$ to get it made please notify me; either in this post or at my email kath@myarea.com. Hope you will all want to see it and own one to wear on the NON-tradable part of your lanyard/vest

For those of you who have not made it over yet, please try to make it to the Contemporary resort on Friday nights between 7 p.m. and ??? We have had one or two of the unfair traders come to our "waters" but as they see trade books closing after just one dirty offer, they have gotten the message we don't want them to act their "usual" way there. We cannot tell someone they
are not welcome there. We will not ask/tell them to go away. But if there is no one to open a book to them, or if there is no on eto take advantage of, they leave and most have never come back.

Try it once or twice just to see if you don't agree. There can always be worms in ANY garden but, with constant love, nurturing and attention, the weeds, worms and other pests can be either ridded, or at the least very controlled.

Makes me think of the scene in Toy Story where the toys all gang up on Sid and Woody tells him to "Play nice!"

It's unfortunate that there are folks that need to be reminded of such a thing but I think that it's a great way of getting the message across.

i didn't even think of the Jiminey Cricket tie-in !!!

I'm sure I could however, there is a strict no selling policy on this board. That would be a difficult to organize with no particular venue or arena in which to let others know of the potential sale. Any other ideas please forward to me or post here kath@myarea.com
