Im looking for info on the Savor, Sip and Sparkle. I am taking my two sons, 12 and 10. Is this something they would enjoy or is it more for adults? Any other suggestions for MK fireworks without being in the middle of the crowd. This is my birthday celebration trip, wanting something a little special.

There probably haven't been too many that have attended Sip, Savor and Sparkle since it is a new event (first one was on Feb. 26) and it's only one night a week, but here are three familiar bloggers who have posted photo reviews that will give you a better idea of what to expect:

My parents are attending this on May 14th. It seems more adult-oriented to me, but mostly nothing is off limits to kids at Disney.

Thanks for the comments. I think it is a bit overpriced for the kids, so maybe that is how they will keep the audience more mature. The first blogger had great ideas for access to CG. I am staying at the contemporary, so that may be a great option to just hit the lounge there.

Yeah, it's a waste with kids since they can't take advantage of the drinks. Have brunch there, you can still access the fireworks viewing that same evening if you bring a receipt!

Or, if you really want to treat yourself for your birthday, do a mini-split stay and stay club-level for one night. We did CL for a short trip and enjoyed the fireworks view from the club lounge balcony with desserts a few evenings. A club level upgrade from a regular contemporary room is cheaper than buying 3 tickets to the SSS thing, heck, you could get 3 nights at club level for what you would pay to go to that dessert party!

We did this event, and loved it, but I definitely feel like it is way too expensive for kids, since they can't drink. I will say, for adults, the staff was amazingly accommodating, meeting our every request. I will definitely do this again, if they continue the experience!
