Savona Suites

Hi, Does anyone have experience with this hotel?
We are going to Disney this week 3/8/06-3/11/06 and booked here. Everything else was booked and this was a last minute trip.

Isn't this the one that until a few months ago was the Hawthorn Suites? My Dbro liked it when it was owned by the other company and we had reservations there for this coming fall, but then they went from full american breakfast to just a continental breakfast so we changed our reservation to another hotel. But, sorry, no experience with it as Savona Suites.

We were suppose to stay at the Crowne Plaza on Universal Blvd...but the place that we had gotten the two nights for free said they had no suites at the Crowne Plaza available (even though we booked the suite atleast 6 months prior to our stay) so they said they would hook us up with a very nice and secluded place...That was the "Savona Suites" We (dh and I) didn't like it much to secluded ... no restruants on site.... had to walk to the resturants... and I thought it was kind of dark in the rooms ...not enough lights...so I called the place that said they would hook us up... well it wasn't... so I called and complained got the Crowne Plaza back with a suite ... better time there than the Savona Suites... Sorry!!!! I didn't want to make you feel bad because it is a nice place but not for me!!!
