Anyone ever factor in the money you will be saving because you are going to Disney? :scratchin LOL, let me explain.....

Because I will be going to Disney for at least a week I will be saving approx $50 on heating costs (from OH and going in NOV!), $15 on electric, $10 on water, $60 on gas for vehicles, $50 on childcare, $50 on lunches, $50 in groceries. Let me see, that's $285 I'm saving by going to Disney! Looks like I've found a few extra dollars to add to the budget.....um I mean save. :rolleyes1

Can I count that $500 shopping spree I was planning on taking in November? ::yes:: OK, I don't think that one will work! :rolleyes2

Will anyone else be saving money by going to Disney? :rotfl:

Oh I always count in my weekly expenses when I plan my trip. Groceries- $125, Gas $25, Misc stuff the kids talk me into $25, date night/family night $50. I don't count our utilities, but in October we should be getting by without the A/C or the heater so the utilities savings is not much. We'll still have to water the lawn...

I also tend to save about $25 a week out of my regular budget on the weeks leading up to a trip, but that is my mad money for the parks and stays off the official budget. I wonder if I could get DH to come home for lunch for a week??? That would save $30-$40...

Yes, thought of another one! We eat out at least once a week at a sit down restaurant, add another $40 plus a quick dinner somewhere $20. I can add another $60 to my $285! Yeh!!!!!! :cool1:
