Didn't think I would get the chance to save money on a Disney cruise but was looking at a Disney cruise facebook group I belong to and saw a post about

the Admin of the page posted it up and mentioned how much she saved.

I then went to the DCL website and sure enough there was the offer under specials. After reading all the terms and conditions I gave DCL a call as I had booked direct with them.

I thought I would share it incase it applies to anyone else. (or as a reminder to keep checking the specials page even after booking).

After being on hold for a while listening to Disney music I was able to have it applied to my reservation. We have already paid in full and have an inside deluxe stateroom. Getting $1182 USD back take about 7-10 days to be applied to my card they said. That money will come in handy for spending.

I was surprised as well, I thought I would have been out of luck having PIF. Read that other PIF people had got it applied so went and rung DCL and got it applied. This cruise is not till December maybe that is why?

I contacted my travel agent and also got it applied. We have 2 cabins booked for a new years eve sailing and have saved thousands.
Travel agent stated it was unusual for a discount to be applied to all but 2 dates for a cruise season. Also so far in advance for the whole season and no changes needs to cabins numbers for you to get the discount.

Quick question for those in the know.

Is the advertised price of the cruise on the DCL site shown as before or after 30% off special? just looking at other cruise dates and wondering if the price shown is the real price or will it be 30% off the price shown.
